What to Expect During a Waxing Session
Your appointment begins with a brief conversation about the area you want treated and any relevant skin sensitivities. Your provider prepares and cleanses the skin before applying wax in sections. The wax grips the hair so it can be removed from the root, with your provider working methodically across the area.
You may feel a quick pulling or stinging sensation as each section is removed, particularly in more sensitive areas, but this passes quickly. Once waxing is complete, your provider checks for any remaining hairs and cleans the treated skin. Some temporary redness or sensitivity is normal afterward, and you will receive guidance on caring for the area as your skin settles.
